Smart Inventory Management System
for Department of Computer Engineering (Ongoing)
This is an ongoing project at the Department of Computer Engineering, University of Peradeniya, to design and develop a Smart Inventory Management System for managing the Department’s equipment and resources.
The application is built on a modern web stack: PHP with the Laravel framework, Bootstrap 5 on the front end, and MySQL as the database. It is developed as an open-source project, and the codebase is available on GitHub.
Development is carried out by four student developer teams, each focusing on a different set of objectives and features. I serve as the Project Manager of the initiative while also contributing directly as the lead developer, coordinating the teams, reviewing their work, and guiding the overall product design.
