Nuwan Jaliyagoda

This is a student-led initiative of the Department of Computer Engineering, University of Peradeniya, in which I serve as the Lead Engineer and Mentor. The project delivers a web-based portal that functions as the Department’s intranet application, together with an API gateway that facilitates seamless integration between department services.

The portal is built with the Laravel framework and developed as an open-source project on GitHub by teams of student contributors. As of January 2025, three phases of the project have been completed and deployed to production, covering news management, event management, course management, and overall departmental information management.

The portal is live at portal.ce.pdn.ac.lk.
