Builder V3 is a multi-purpose CNC router and the third prototype in a series of CNC machines I have been developing since November 2016. Each generation was rebuilt with improvements in performance, accuracy, and durability, resulting in a machine with a working volume of 420 x 300 x 50 mm and an estimated accuracy of about 0.4 mm.
The router is driven by a 500W spindle motor and handles a wide variety of workloads, from routing and engraving to milling printed circuit boards. Notably, this machine fabricated all the PCBs for the Pera SAP-I 8-bit computer project.
